What about salt water applications?

The Solar Dock Lite was originally designed and Intended for Fresh Water docks and applications. It is sealed except for a tiny pin hole in the bottom to equalize air pressure. For this reason we can not guarantee the life expectancy of the Solar Dock Lite In salt water applications. The Solar Dock Lite is however sealed much better than conventional "solar garden lights".

Since there is a tiny pin size hole we simply can NOT guarantee how long or how many years the product will last in such environments. It could last numerous years or less than a few.

FUTURE SALT WATER SOLAR DOCK LITE COMING!!

Lake Lite Inc. is happy to announce that it is in the process of designing a SALT WATER Solar Dock Lite much more suited for ocean front dock applications. This unit will be slightly larger and be approximately 8X as bright as any solar light you have seen! We are working on the design and will be updating its status on our website. We are hopping to be done near August 2006. We apologize for any inconveniences.
